- Job Overview
We currently have a unique opportunity for a talented Technical Analyst to join our team of high-calibre professionals. The Technical Analyst will be responsible for technical interviews with clients, reviewing and analyzing clients’ technologies, conducting thorough technical interviews with staff members, and coordinating the preparation of technical/financial reports describing the client’s innovation-related activities.
As a Technical Analyst, you will have the opportunity to gain broad practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies across many industries. Through interaction with clients, you will drive the technical discovery and interview processes and will be responsible for gathering complete and accurate technical information related to the client’s projects.
- Responsibilities
• Conducting detailed technical interviews using Maxim’s proven approach with Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Managers, Project Managers, Plant and Operations Managers.
• Analyzing and reviewing clients’ technologies and identification of eligible work.
• Analyzing, synthesizing, articulating, and conveying technical information.
• Working with the financial team to ensure maximized benefits are claimed for our clients.
• Supporting clients throughout the claim process, manage client expectations and adhering to deadlines.
- Qualifications
• University degree and/or advanced diploma in any technical field or in the English language.
• Technical vocabulary and communication skills with the ability to articulately discuss and convey technical matters.
• Experience an asset but not required.
• Presentation and probing skills required for leading meetings and identifying clients’ technical capabilities.
• High degree of professionalism with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with client personnel at all levels of management.
• Time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and to simultaneously handle multiple client projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Microsoft Access an asset but not required.
• Access to vehicle required with some element of local travel-related expenses reimbursed.
